After 10pm there is nowhere to go but to sleep. Other than that, the food was ordinary as well as the night action. Anyways I was not impressed with the way they dealt with the issue, both the management and the municipal police. Clever thief because If the whole amount disappears than it is obvious, but this way it is most probable that it does not arises suspicion. Would I have not known how much I had, I would have thought that I miscalculated or lost a bit somehow. I knew exactly how much I had as it was meant to pay the dentist that week. In my case it was 20% of the total amount.

The reason they never get complaints for this is probably due to the fact that the thief only steals a portion of the money. All they could repeat over and over was that it ever happened before in their hotel. The hotel management declined responsability and I hardly got a sorry from them. I got stolen $450 in mine at the Samba Vallarta. This resort is very small and family oriented so may not be for everyone, but we absolutely loved it and look forward to our next visit!Ĭareful if you put money in the safe deposit box in your room. Isreal arranged for us to move to another room facing the pool the second week we were there, we declined, but appreciated the offer. This would be my only complaint, as the hotel next door was very noisy at night and kept us awake.

We asked to have a room that faced the pool but when we arrived, the hotel was full and we had to face the resort next door. We also enjoyed riding the bikes (although in need of repair). The pool side staff were all very good with games and keeping us entertained. We also were always easily able to find pool side or beach lounge chairs. We didn't have any trouble booking the restaurants and appreciated being able to book one every day. The lobby bartender Bruno, was the best one at the resort and made us excellent drinks, always with a smile! We loved having our dinner at the poolside restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets during dinner each evening with Ricardo as our host. Isreal was excellent at the front desk and did whatever he could to make our stay enjoyable! Elizabeth was always very sweet greeting us every morning at the buffet. We especially enjoyed our servers Ricardo and Salvador and were very impressed by the special coffees made by Alex. There was staff cleaning, sweeping, wiping, etc. The rooms and the grounds were kept very clean. We had an excellent stay at Samba Vallarta and would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone and will definitely return here! Some of the highlights were the amazing staff, incredible food, great entertainment, cleanliness and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate. I never write reviews ,but loved this place so much I thought I had to! In fact I'm reviewing while still here! The slides are small enough that they can do it themselves and i can still relax. The pools are clean and the pirate ship is great for the kids. The waves at the beach are big, so not suitable for kayaking, but the kids enjoyed just standing out there with the waves crashing into them. The entertainment staff Jose, Javier and Ai.Yiy.Ai.made each day memorable.also you can sign out boogie boards from the towel stand.and there is fooseball, pool, and shuffle board of you wish to play.

My kids loved seeing ,Pinky (Carlos) at breakfast in the morning. The hotel accepts US dollars and Mexican Pesos, and they can also exchange your money at the front desk.

My daughter's whole head was braided in about 25min for 35 dollars US. There is hair braiding down by the beach, and the price is decent.

Wi-Fi works everywhere, the rooms, the pool and the beach. The grounds are neat and tidy and the rooms are spick and span. There is plenty of staff always diligently cleaning, sweeping and tidying, it's quite amazing really. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. There are guessing games, bean bag tosses, bracelet and necklace making, bingo, beach volley ball. The entertainment throughout the day is great for adults and kids. The snack bar outside has burgers, hotdogs, pizza, chips and salsa, and salads. My kids are picky eaters but always found something they liked. We never had a problem making a reservation but we are early risers and got there at 7am each morning to book. We ate at an a la carte each night, and watched the sun set from the outdoor Mexican restaurant. We stayed at the Samba for our first family vacation and travelled with a 5 and 4 year old.
